           Summary: kolab-cyrus-imapd start script fails on Debian Squeeze
           Product: Kolab
           Version: 2.3.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: packaging - apt - debian
        AssignedTo: wickert at kolabsys.com
        ReportedBy: kolab at os-t.de
         QAContact: packaging-bugs at lists.kolabsys.com
       Ticket Type: ---

When starting the cyrus imap server via the provided script
/etc/init.d/cyrus-imapd start
the script tries to check the condition of an upgrade (verify_cyrus_15_upgrade)
and searches for the cyrus mail storage underneath /var/lib/cyrus. This fails
but the subroutine does not return. Adding an echo at the end of the subroutine
fixes this:

verify_cyrus_15_upgrade() {
        # Verify if there are old Cyrus 1.5 spools that were not upgraded
        [ -f /var/lib/cyrus/mailboxes -a \
            -d /var/lib/cyrus/deliverdb -a \
            -d /var/spool/cyrus/mail/user -a \
            ! -d /var/spool/cyrus/mail/stage. ] && \
        echo "$0: It appears that you still have an version 1.5 spool" 1>&2
        echo "$0: that needs to be upgraded." 1>&2
        echo "$0: Cyrus Master not started."
        exit 6
